Celebration of Earth Day at the “Kune-Vain-Talë” Nature Reserve

Lezhë, April 22nd, 2024. The “Kune-Vain-Talë” nature reserve became the center of an important activity for environmental protection and pupils education. Pupils from the “Ndoc Gjetja” school, in collaboration with RAPA Lezhë, participated in this awareness-raising activity to celebrate Earth Day. This moment marked a reminder of the significance of our natural surroundings and the imperative to respond to its needs.

In this activity, pupils confronted the reality of environmental pollution and the consequences it brings to nature and our lives. They took part in a comprehensive clean-up effort, starting from the lagoon and extending all the way to the beach. Besides just cleaning, they also exchanged their experiences to protect and preserve the environment in the future.

Earth Day is an occasion to reflect on our connection with our planet and to take measures to change our behavior towards it. In a time when climate change and environmental pollution are major global challenges, it is important to join efforts to protect the Earth.
