Hotolisht, November 3rd, 2023. Together with students of the school “Rrahman Çota”, Hotolisht and ADZM Elbasan, in an effort to fight and educate about deforestation, pollution and other environmental issues, we added authentic trees to the “Shebenik Jabllanicë” National Park area. This initiative aimed to educate young people on restoring the natural balance and preserving the region’s biodiversity. Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn about environmental conservation was commendable.
The “Shebenik Jabllanicë” National Park, known for its rich flora and fauna, involved students in practical experience with a sense of responsibility towards nature. They acquired proficiency in the correct techniques for tree planting, the selection of appropriate seedlings, and the ongoing maintenance required for sustained growth over time.By concentrating on the cultivation of authentic trees specific to the area, it is conceivable that these recently planted seedlings will be well-adapted to endure the local climatic conditions and thrive within their natural habitat. This methodology advocates for the restoration of ecosystems while preserving the genetic diversity inherent to the region.
Thus, this collaborative effort serves as an inspiring example of how communities can come together to effectively address environmental challenges. By instilling a sense of responsibility in the minds of young people today, we can create a better future where sustainable practices are prioritized for generations to come.
