The challenges of local civil society organizations, which are committed to environmental issues in Albania, are many and their own networking is faced with these challenges and takes time to achieve. Some of the difficulties that organizations face are: lack of organizational capacity, weak connections, limited budgets or limited skills in public relations.
Networking enables coordination, cooperation, overcoming competition between organizations and the establishment of strategic coalitions for solidarity, action and advocacy around environmental causes. Through networking, the aim is to exchange information, raise and share funds, coordinate programs/activities for joint advocacy campaigns.
The short graphic video, which was made within the framework of the Engona project, shows more about these challenges, the structure of civil society environmental organizations, the common goals of the four networks of environmental civil society organizations, and provides concrete information on how to strengthen the networking of these organizations.
