EcoAlbania is pleased to invite you to participate in the meeting for young people “Energy Talk – let’s talk about energy” which will be held on September 28, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., at Destil Hostel Tirana, Alternative Space hall, street ” Qamil Guranjaku”, 1001 Tirana (in front of the Artistic High School “Jordan Misja”).
This meeting is organized within the project “Together – an eye for the environment” and is financially supported by the Swedish Embassy through the SENiOR-II program implemented by the Regional Center for the Environment – REC Albania.
Speakers, Mr. Gjergji Simaku, Director at the “Directorate of Renewable Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency”, Ministry of Energy and Industry; and Mr. Erjon Tase, Executive Director, Academy of Political Studies will address issues and topics of interest to energy efficiency, relevant legislation, the steps our country has taken so far, the best practices of efficient use of energy, improvement of infrastructure for the consumer, etc. A special emphasis will be placed on the economic development and the increase in living standards that may come as a result of the implementation of this legislation and these practices.
At the end of the presentations there will be a musical performance which will be accompanied by a drink.
Environmental/engineering students, young experts, young employees at state institutions and civil society organizations working on energy and environmental issues, between the ages of 18 and 35, are encouraged to apply. Participation is free of charge.
