KUÇEDRA – PORTRAITS OF LIFE ON EUROPE’S LAST WILD RIVER
EcoAlbania and Institute of Anthropological and Spatial Studies ZRC SAZU, Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, will host the opening of the photo exhibition “Kuçedra – portraits of life on Europe’s last wild river” at Tulla Centre, Tirana.
The exhibition by American photographer Nick St. Oegger documents the Vjosa river, one of Europe’s last wild and free flowing rivers. Through photos of the landscapes and people of the Vjosa, the project shows a portrait of this unique environment, which is threatened by plans to build several large hydropower dams.
The exhibition will be opened on January 10th, 2020 at 17:30 and will be opened for the public until January 31st 2020, at 10:00-17:00.
