Betilda Ahmeti

Betilda is an environmental biologist and expert in the identification of aquatic macro-invertebrates. She has worked on the field sampling and analysis of more than 300 samples of aquatic macroinvertebrates from the streams and rivers of the Alentejo region, Portugal. She has contributed in the analysis of the macro-invertebrate families of the Shushica River, one of the main tributaries of the Vjose River.
Her main interests are the scientific research of macroinvertebrates and aquatic ecology, as well as the identification and ecology of birds.
