Learning and Exchange in Ioannina

Albanian CSOs working along the Vjosa basin joined an exchange visit to Ioannina and Pindus National Park, where they exchanged experiences with Greek counterparts MedINA and Pindos on river protection, community engagement, and sustainable policies and efforts to safeguard the Aoos River. They explored Pindus National Park, gaining insights into conservation and sustainable river management. In a meeting with Mayor Georgios Soukouvelos of Zagoria, discussions focused on local governance and cross-border cooperation. This visit strengthened collaboration for the shared protection of Vjosa and Aoos.
