The Valbona community protests against the HPPs in Valbona

Today, the communities of the Valbona and Vjosa valleys have joined forces and supported each other to protect the pearls of nature, the Valbona River and Vjosa. Together with civil society organizations, they started the protest in front of the Ministry of Energy and Industry and then marched towards the Prime Minister to ask the Albanian Government to stop the construction of hydropower plants in the Valbona National Park and to invest in the development of tourism in the area.
