The Austrian newspaper Wiener Zeitung published a travel report from two journalists, discovering the valley of the Vjosa River in Albania.
They met with locals and representatives of local NGOs who are opposed to the many construction plans of dams and other hydro power plants, which are conducted by international companies.
They discover the parts of the river that presumably will be lost or flooded and learn about the importance of the integrity of the ecosystem.
