“I am very happy that the “Solar in Kutë” project is successful. It is great to see, that this pioneer project happens in Kutë, a village that opposed the destructive Poçem dam project. Conflicts always contain chances for a better solution. It is also important, that we are talking rooftop PV here and not PV in the landscape or even in protected areas. Driving from Tirana through Durres I see hectares of roofs – especially in the industrial zones and on hotels – that should follow the Kutë example and implement PV-s on their roofs.
