Scientists from Austria, Germany and Albania demand a halt of the plans to construct several dams on the Vjosa River, while also the EU-Parliament criticizes the environmental assessments building the foundation for the plans.
Experts raise concerns that the mistakes done in other parts of Europe should not be repeated for the sake of short lived profit.
