Title of the Project: Community Engagement – Indicator of Integration in Decision-making (ACTIVE)
Project goal: Increase the active public participation in decision-making, regarding the sustainable use of natural resources.
Objectives:
Objective 1. Improving the notices process for public hearings, in regard issuing environmental permits for HPP, in the territory of the Vjosa valley municipalities.
Objective 2. Increase participation and awareness of the Vjosa valley community, highlighting their role in decision-making on environmental permitting HPP.
Objective 3. Evaluation of the Vjosa valley community’s concerns reflection level in public hearings for the environmental permitting of hydropower.
Objective 4. Supporting Vjosa valley community in civil reactions as part of the process of accountability to decision-making institutions.
